How to clear your to-do list
Read why it is important to delete the bad ideas and unimportant tasks from your to-do list.

If you've been involved in maintaining a backlog or list of ideas, requests or suggestions, you may have found it harder and harder to maintain - and harder and harder to overview.
One of the reasons is that it's easy to overlook that you not only have to have a process for how things get on the list - you also have to have a process for how to delete something. The thing is that new requests and proposals tend to arise at a higher pace than we can manage to implement them.
Therefore, the list just gets longer and longer and often ends up getting completely out of proportion with the capacity we have available. This means that the list ceases to be an efficient and useful work tool.
If you want to avoid that, you need to establish the criteria and a practice of deleting things from the list. It will lighten the mood and increase the motivation of the team. It will free up time as you do not have to maintain the list with things that will never be done anyway. And it will enable you to overview and choose from the remaining options.
Benelizer® Cloud gives you an overview - both of what you should do - and what you can safely delete. You can also learn more about the method in one of our master classes or have your backlog cleaned up in a focused workshop.
